Community Practice

CML offers a wide variety of mindfulness training, from the most elementary level to the most advanced.

We offer Community Sits on the following schedule:

Sunday: Vegetarian potluck 5:30pm-7:00pm. Guided mindfulness practice, talk about mindfulness, and discussion 7:00pm-9pm. By donation.
Monday: Community Sit 7am-8am (with optional meditation interview)
Tuesday: Community Sit 7am-8am (with optional meditation interview)
Wednesday: Community Sit 7am-8am (with optional meditation interview).

Mindfulness class: 5:15pm-6:15pm. By donation

Thursday: Community Sit 7am-8am (with optional meditation interview)
Friday: Community Sit 7am-8am (with optional meditation interview)

You are welcome to come for the last half an hour of the morning practice. Please enter the meditation hall at 7:30. Meditation interviews will begin at 7:30. It is a short 5 – 10 min check ins about your practice with personalized instruction and guidance.

Saturday: Day long retreat offered by the residents training to become mindfulness teachers.

Morning session 9 am – 1 pm ( will include periods of practice in stillness (seated or standing) and periods of practice in motion (walking, or movement art of your choice)

Lunch Break 1pm – 2pm (Please bring your own lunch)

Evening session 2pm – 6pm ( will include periods of practice in stillness (seated or standing) and periods of practice in motion (walking, or movement art of your choice)

You may attend all day or just the morning or evening.

Suggested Donation of $20 a session / $40 full day. No one will be turned away offer what you can.
